What really made&nbsp;<em>Dominion v Fox<\/em>&nbsp;extraordinary were its revelations ahead of the trial. The lawsuit laid bare\u2014through the release of emails, texts and depositions of Fox staff and management\u2014the extent to which America\u2019s most popular cable network\u2019s coverage is shaped by a desire to tell its audience what it wants to hear. &nbsp;The case shed light on Fox\u2019s delirious relationship with the politician loved by many of its viewers, Donald Trump.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The settlement was for 787.5 million dollars, the network can pay the settlement, which is about a quarter of what analysts estimate that Fox News earned in revenue last year, otherwise the impact is negligible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fox News\u2019s settlement with Dominion Voting Systems on Tuesday earned extensive coverage on every television news network but one: Fox News. The $787.5 million settlement was covered only three times by Fox News in about four hours after the settlement became public, amounting to about six minutes of coverage. I ride an exercise bike every morning at the gym and was curious to see if anyone on Fox spoke on this topic all week, crickets are all I heard, truly amazing coming from a network who bloviates all day long but didn\u2019t want to talk about dishonest journalism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fox news had Rudy Giuliani, Sidney Powell, Jenna Ellis and a gaggle of republican representatives and senators on a continuous loop from election day to January 6, spreading false and misleading information to its viewers and they ate it up, like bees to honey, sometimes you just can\u2019t fix stupid!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I always like to see how certain people react to these stories; one caught my eye the other day, see below. Patrick Bet-David was asking since this lawsuit dropped, why hasn\u2019t Trump sued CNN or MSNBC over the Russia investigation. Now, the thing I find humorous about this is how they act like Donald Trump didn\u2019t do anything wrong. A total of thirty-four individuals and three companies were indicted by Mueller&#8217;s investigators. Eight have pleaded guilty to or been convicted of felonies, including five Trump associates and campaign officials. The real question here is, like Patrick stated, why isn&#8217;t Trump suing, these folks, seems like the perfect time? I can\u2019t believe this is a sitting member of congress and she doesn\u2019t know the difference between criticism and a lie.
