Hate is the worst seed you can plant in a garden. It will consume everything in the garden and leave you with nothing. Like Tony and many others have said, no one should be happy with what happened no matter what you think of Donald Trump. With as much disdain as I have for Donald Trump, I don’t wish what happened to him at his rally on he or anyone. That is How Hate Grows! Even though there is no place for violence in our election process, it has been there for ages. More recently in the last 8-10 years. It is unfortunate that the conservatives have forgotten so soon what their radical side has professed in recent years. But as soon as the script is flipped, they can’t tolerate any of it. Hypocrisy, complete hypocrisy on all levels.
As Tony mentioned in his post, all the republican supporters now saying “how shameful it is about all the rhetoric Democrats have been saying about Trump. Look at what it has caused”. You see the difference is, what Democrats were saying about Trump didn’t have anything to do with killing someone, hurting them, hanging them or putting them in jail. Though Trump should be in jail for inciting an insurrection and taking top secret documents. May he was just rallying the troops. He really didn’t mean anything he said about marching on the capital, fighting like hell and taking your country back. He was just giving a speech. Please do all of us a favor. Keep your thumb up your ass, so your brains don’t fall out.
- They seem to forget when Trump was running against Hillary Clinton, his mantra was “Lock her up”.
- Did they forget that he has used racial slurs, inappropriate comments about a person’s appearance, and called his political opponents names when giving a speech.
- Did you forget that he called for the hanging of Mike Pence, his own vice president. Oh, yea right, he was just kidding. I guess if they did get their hands on Mike Pence and hung him, Trump would have said “I don’t know why they did that, I was just kidding. I didn’t really mean for them to do that.”
Oh, that’s ok, you know how Donald is. Don’t be so fucking ignorant. That is How Hate Grows!
It starts with the former president. After being shot, he stands up, raises his fist and shouts “fight” several times. What the hell is he telling people to fight for? Automatically that gesture insinuates that what happened is part of an evil plan by your government or the other political side to do him harm. To add to it, as they were taking the former president off stage, people in the crowd, turned to face the cameras, with middle fingers raised, were shouting fuck you to the camera. Who were they shouting too? I don’t know. Me? Did I pissed them off that much with what I write? Maybe, they were shouting to the very same people that the former president was telling them to “fight” against. Once again, the former president inciting the use of violence to stir his crowd. And the radical conservatives are blaming the Liberal left.

Then there are the Facebook friends and family that continue to boggle my mind. One conspiracy theory after another, one religious posting after another, one moronic post after another.
- There is the picture of a guardian angel standing behind Trump as he is standing at a podium. You are made to believe (because that is what religion does) that it was during his recent speech in PA. It wasn’t. In this picture Donald Trump is wearing a red tie (because he thinks it means power), but at the PA rally he was not wearing a tie. I believe in angels, but this is ridiculous. If he was shot in the head, was rushed to hospital and survived. I’d say yup, he had an angel with him. In this case, the gunman was a terrible shot. May I remind you again, that religion has killed more people in this world than anything else. Please check your numbers.
- “Why didn’t the secret service do a better job. Well, they were hired by Biden, so it was planned that way”. You must be kidding me. I can’t even respond to that.
- Prefaced by Fuck You Brandon – “You and a party mercilessly crush a man, his family and his supporters every day for over 4 years. Now you want “unity”. Your hypocrisy knows no bounds. You can kiss my ass.” You could have posted this 4 years ago saying the same things about Trump and his disdain for the Biden family. Talk about hypocrisy.
- Or this one. Someone posts a picture of Biden with the following quote adjacent to his picture “We’re done talking about the debate. It’s time to put Trump in a bullseye.” Quoted from a private phone call with Politico. The person goes on to say “I find this more of a call to arms than anything President Trump said in his alleged call for insurrection. Get a clue people.” Another conspiracy theory. It was a poor choice of words. He said he should not have used those words, and was talking about focusing in on the details of the campaign and their response to Trump’s policies/plans. My sediments exactly. Get a clue.
- And who the fuck cares what Trumps son has to say. He immediately called it a liberal plot to hurt his father. He incites violence every time he opens his mouth, that dumb fuck, riding on the coat tails of his father, just like his father did with his.
- Then there is this one posted on a friends Facebook page. He posts a picture of Trump raising his fist (after saying “fight”) next to a picture of George Washington crossing the Delaware, with a caption of “American Hero”. Really. Comparing Donald Trump to George Washington. Trump skirted the military, never put on a uniform, calls folks that died in the war “losers and suckers”. Never gave any money a true 501C non-profit, never built a house for habitat for humanity, and screwed over veterans. God he is a great American. Then on que, one of his Facebook friends says “I like your post, but was thinking more like….”, and post a picture of Marines raising the flag on Iwo Jima. You are now comparing Trump raising his fist to the Marines raising the flag on Iwo Jima. That is ignorant, inconsiderate & disrespectful to every WWII veteran (my father included). There is so much more I would like to tell you to your face.

Finally, the grand prize goes to the father (maybe an uncle) who posted the picture of himself and his 6 kids all seem to be under the age of 12. All of them holding up their middle finger in front of a sign that says “Fuck Biden”. A fine picture of fatherhood. Maybe while we are taking rights away from woman to have abortions, we can implement neutering for men who are found to be clueless examples of a good father or role model. God forbid (There goes those commandments again) the young boy grows up hating things so much that by the time he is 20 he is trying to take a shot at a presidential candidate.
