While the folks out there who believe there is a “war on Christmas”, I have a slightly different perspective on this. I believe the real war is on intelligence and being well informed. I marvel almost every day on how misinformed Americans are. When I hear someone say, “How stupid can these people be?”, I respond, “Stop asking that, some of the folks take that as a challenge”! After a victory in the Nevada caucus in 2016 Trump stated “”We won with young. We won with old. We won with highly educated. We won with poorly educated. I love the poorly educated”. I have no doubt that our President does believe that. Don’t believe that, well let’s see.
President Trump has told Americans, that everyone is going to receive a $2000 rebate from all this wonderful tariff money the United States is taking in. As of Sept/2025, tariffs have brought in around 190 billion, a huge increase from last year and yet our national debt is still 36 trillion and rising. Giving every American this payout would cost about 600 billion. Sorry, the math just isn’t adding up here. Maybe you could deposit this in the same account that your $5000 DOGE check went into.
Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy in the midst of several aircraft incidents this year and an ongoing struggle with staffing of air traffic controllers thinks we should dress better when we are flying, show some more courtesy, ok, not sure how that is going to cure a lot of these aviation woes, but there you have it.
International travel to America is way down this year. The United States stands to lose $30 billion in international tourism dollars this year. Canadians are spending their money domestically or bypassing the U.S. to go to Latin America and the Caribbean. More Western Europeans are going to the Middle East, while Southeast Asians show rising interest in Europe. What is the Trump administration solution to this? They propose asking foreign travelers to provide 5-years of social media history. This seems like a viable good idea to make folks like America more. I wonder how many Americans would mind providing this for future travel. Again, I ask, where are all the patriots, the flag wavers, the “you are limiting my rights folks”, you have all disappeared!
Measles was basically eradicated from American society. As of this week The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) today said the United States has 1912 confirmed cases so far in 2025, an increase of 84 cases since last week and a bad sign as holiday gatherings, travel, and indoor activities is set to pick up in the final weeks of the year.
In January 2026, the United States is at risk of losing its measles elimination status because of ongoing transmission chains from a West Texas outbreak that began early last year and sickened roughly 800 people. The country first gained elimination status in 2000. This what happens when you put someone with a brain worm in charge of your health environment.
In July 2025, the Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard publicly accused former President Barack Obama and his administration officials of leading a “years-long coup and a treasonous conspiracy” against the American people and the Trump presidency. President Trump echoed the accusations, stating, “He’s guilty. This was treason,” and suggesting “very severe consequences”. Of course, just a month earlier, President Trump stated Ms. Gabbard was wrong on Iran’s nuclear capability. That is a serious charge to make against a former president. As of today, there have been no formal indictment or charges brought against President Obama.
This last week along, I heard that inflation was beaten, affordability is a democratic hoax, he barely knew Epstein and of course, the 2020 election was rigged. I don’t claim to be a rocket scientist, but I do know when someone is pissing down my back and telling me it’s raining and with these folks it seems to rain a lot!
